DIÀSPORA | Paula Sacur
Diaspora embodies and touches migration in different spheres, from the biological to the geographical and the cosmological, where humanity occupies the middle ground..
Sinopsi

Diaspora is the dispersion throughout the world of human groups that have been forced, for various reasons, to leave their place of origin. We want to generate a device for the stage in order to create awareness of what a body (human being) goes through in a process of migration, from its place of origin to an unknown territory. Crossing the very frontier of the body through traces, tracks that remain in our somatic memory. Everyone on their own island, trying to save themselves from what they consider to be a threat. A narrative constructed through the story of the soma-body. Finding ourselves in diasporic identities makes us think from a body, a human being, a walking sentient-thinking being, a wanderer of infinite routes, migrating within the self and the environment.
