EDUCATING WITH MUSIC // Training by ARANTXA RIERA's pedagogues

Dates: one Saturday per month during 2018.

SYNOPSIS:

After three years of training and having finished the studies of the methodology "Musica in Culla" (music in the cradle) carried out by the school Afinarte in Madrid, several educators from different parts of Spain (Asturias, Andalusia, Madrid, Catalonia and Balearic Islands) decided to create a collaborative community on musical learning with the following purposes:

To share our teaching experiences in order to help each other to become better educators.
To be more informed about the learning processes of children and adults.
To improve teacher education
To encourage musical interaction and communication in our teaching.

All participants are musicians, early childhood music educators and/or music teachers who share a common interest in the teaching/learning process and a common vision about the value of early childhood music education.

BIOGRAPHY:

Arantxa Riera

Flutist and singer, specialized in early childhood music education (Musica in Culla® and Edwin Gordon's MLT). Creator of the project Songs for Matilda and co-creator of the integral project "Voice and Movement" of CEIP Rosa de los Vientos, with more than 15 years of experience in the educational field.
