Medea a la Carte by ESTHER FREIXES and TONI COTS
Dates: from 1 to 30 July 2018
SYNOPSIS:
Medea a la carta is a research and scenic creation fruit of the meeting and continuous dialogue between Esther Freixa i Ràfols and Toni Cots, since July 2007. Since then, a process of collaboration begins around several questions related to the artistic and theatrical fact through this proposal of scenic creation.
In January 2009, Medea (a la carte) began to be presented in private homes and spaces, based on the interest of the spectators themselves. In September 2010 the proposal is also placed in another context, inviting the spectator to public spaces and thus, to see how all these questions respond, if they can be accommodated and open new views ... (see news). Likewise, Medea (a la carte) continues to be shared in non-theatrical or not necessarily scenic spaces, through invitations from those interested.
